Has anyone tried taller gearing on a renegade, I heard that 24/43 gearing works good with stock clutching. Ive been running well against other 800 twins, in 660 feet. I will jump them out of the hole about 5 lengths but in mid range to top end they will start catching me and it is allway's close at the line. I would like a little more mid range and top end to hold them off! Any opinions!

Your gonna lose on top end cause of the long track and relatively big lugs. *Shorter tracks with a lower profile will get you in the end, but you will ALWAYS get the hole shot http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Hey kennypope, I think you should try gearing your sled down to 19/44 and clicking your TRA up to 6 so that I can at least have a chance of catching you in a quarter mile (LOL).
Just my opinion !
