The ECS has a low angle ground and I don't see a difference between the two Somene here is telling me I HAVE to use BR9ECS and not BR9ES. Dont let them talk you into buying those high dollar ecs plugs, just run descent gas and you will be happy. MERRY CHRISTMAS !! I'd stick w/ that plug. Are those ECS plugs the same that Yamaha had in the SRXs? A friend had a SRX & he had to use them & they fouled quite easy. 99SRX700 12-24-2002, 01:02 AM I was told from a very reliable source that ski-doo has been having a detonation problem with those engines and thats why they made the switch to the ECS's. I would stick with those if I were you I have been hearing some stories. Whether or not the plug actually cures the problem I am not sure of...my buddy says its all about how you ride it. JasonF 12-24-2002, 11:27 AM Talked to my dealer and even he told I should just run the Br9es, he said the ECS comes pre gaped at .018 and just to make sure the br9es plug is gaped the same. :thumbsup: I also hate the argument that just because you paid big bucks for your sled that we shouldn't mind pay more for parts :cussing: .
