Well Rev, it's been two years since I've ridden my sled in the state of Illinois. If it weren't for our trips up north, my sleds wouldn't have been ridden at all in the last two years. Our snow time has really diminished over the years down here. And when we do get snow, it's usually in Feb or March, hasn't been this early for years.

BTW, I'm really discouraged with the quality of the pics of this Olympus digi camera, so it looks like this is not the one I'll be buying.

What model olympus camera did you buy, I have the d-520. The quality of the pics look good to me but they look dark. that can be adjusted.

Go4it, the camera is a C-211, with the Polaroid feature too. A friend lent it to me since he bought a new one, and thought I might buy this one from him. I'm winging it because he lost the directions...basically, even with the CD-rom driver, I can't get the camera and my computer to communicate properly. I can open the Camedia software, but when I try to transfer the pics to my PC, I get an error msg stating the comm. speed must be wrong, wrong dial mode on camera, or can't find proper driver. I gave up and printed the pics with the Polaroid option and scanned them in...so I am frustrated. The Sony's seem a lot simpler.

Jay, I started removing the stickers to repaint the hood black. But once the larger stickers were off, I liked the green hood much better...I always tend to like the "cleaner" look of things anyway, and those other stickers were too much for me. I removed a couple others today and put my SW.com stickers on, I think you guys will like where I put them...you'll have to wait til I post a pic to see where they are. :D

Perm, did you think I was a closet Doo rider or something?? :p LOL

Thanks Rob...the darn things cost too much to not take care of them. Besides, cleaning the sled is about the only way I get to spend quality time with it since SNOW SEEMS TO BE AN OPTION IN WINTER THESE DAYS!!! :hallo1: High will be around 62 today, then a high of 42 tomorrow...aargh.
