It wont start when hot but ,change the plugs and away it goes,first pull. You can run it all day but as soon as you shut it down no go. Did you check your gas cap for venting properly, sounds like maybe a classic case of vapor lock.
try opening the gas cap next time and listen for a woosh like the fuel system is airbound.
Just a thought, hope you get it cleared up,let us know.
