Sorry if this has been discussed before on this forum (I didn't see any recent threads on it).
I expected Polaris to come out with an updated chassis for the open sno-cross sleds by now -- proto for next years sleds?
Anyone heard anything about it?
Thanks!

There is something in the works and some of the top guys are testing it out. Might debut around the last race or two of the WSA national series if it does come out this year.

it takes quite a while to create something like the REV, assumiong Poo was caught napping (like everyone else) I am sure something is in the works...
but it will take lots of testing to perfect it!
I hope myers is right, I would love to at least see some movement this year!

its coming folks give it time .lets try to perfect it before they release it cause no one wants to buy a piece of you know what.its in the works and was before the rev came onto the scene .don't think that the rev was a suprise to the big guys only to us and some media.i'll gaurantee they didn't just start developing something as soon as the rev was released last winter.

"Good things come to those who wait" I am sure Polaris is working on a trick new chasssis, (They are definately not a corporation who gets left behind) Ski-Doo has had the Rev in developement since '97. I commend them for not throwing a half-baked product into the public. Obviously far better for their own reputation by being patient, and releasing it when it is well R&D'd.

Theres a article in the new race gas mag saying that there is defenitly a A-arm open mod with revish looks. personly though, I think trailing arms work just as good as a arms. plus theresd more room under the hood with trailing arms.

Bring on new innovation! I sure hope they have something that just catches all of the other brands off guard...Polaris would be my new brand!

After the national WSA championships in Lake Geneva, Wi., a friend of a friend left a stand in the parking lot and went back to get it the day after the racing was over. When he got there, Polaris was running sleds with a-arms around the track. When he went up to check it out, they threw a sheet over it and told him to get out of there. This race is run in march. It wasn't last march though, it was the march before that. I was surprised not to see the a-arms on the mods this year. It looks like they are taking their time as this has obviously been in the works for a while.

Since they were one of the first companies to race with IFS, I'm surprised that it's taking so long for them to come around with A arms.
What's up with that, if all the other companies have already converted?

polaris is content in milking dollars from current chassis and still reach their sales goals. Their strength has always been in numbers since the late 70's. With a better clutch and decent front suspension to begin with at least.
