Is that for the 600 HO?

I guess that explains why Bombardier is not building the 700 in '03! (At least I heard they are not putting it in the REV)
Where did you get these numbers?

they still need the 700
the 600 doesnt compare to the 700 at least not in the sumit.

Those are some very impressive numbers. The old 670 ROTARY VALVE makes pretty good power. Was that on a land & sea dyno? I would have a hard time believing the 700 piston/reed would have stock numbers that good.

Is that Corrected Brake Horsepower & Torque ?

Sorry I left out some details!!! 1999 670 HO on a Land and Sea Dyno. I did this testing to set up for stock class asphalt racing. All numbers are corrected. The engine had around 2000 miles on it at the time of the testing.

Looks like the HO guys should just leave their sled stock and just clutch it and add cosmetics. Thanks for the info!

Just curious as why you put a smaller base gasket in. Many use the .8mm. Was this with the stock airbox?

The tests were with the stock air box and the DPM functional.I tried different base gaskets to see if a little increase in compression was worth lowering the port heights. When an engine has to pass tear down in the stock classes you have to try everything!!!!
