Anyone have a 2000 mxz700? Heard these were slower than 2001. How is this sled? http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I have one and I love it. Some 2000s had crank bearing issues so if you buy it make sure the oil pump is setup properly. It was plenty quick stock. I put on a Goodwin clutch kit the first year and tried a Cudney 20+hp kit the second. This year went back to the stock pipe with RK Tek head and MacDizzy porting. The final setup is by far the best. Never lost a fair race in Quebec and never got less that 10mpg even including lake racing. *Good Luck, Ronzx9.

Very good sled, bitch to keep the yellow clean, but wouldn't have any other color. Has about 5k miles on it now.

Awesome sled. 5800 miles on mine no problems., The 2001 is a little faster due to the fact that it has flat-slide carbs as opposed to the round slides on the 2000. The flatslides supposedly give it a 5 hp advantage. but I've raced an 2002 which has the flatslides also and it is a little faster but not much.

All I have to say about the 2000 MXZ 700's is that they are awesome machines! *Really quick!
