What kind of RPM's should this sled be pulling .... it's a 780 cc and right now it's pulling 7900RPM's as soon as you pin it :D

Thats pretty close ,try going up one on the clickers and see how that feels or do a little side by side testing. My 96 always liked 8000 rpm.

take your 10mm wrench and back nut off as far as it will go without coming off. Take other end of wrench and turnbolt to desired number. Repeat process for the other two clicker..

Ya it is john got 144 in it ..... I got smoked by 3 pol 600's yesterday and a Rev 800 , I can't get any traction we were on the lake . But on the ground with a little dirt showing I was gone from start to finish . Think I will be giving Royal Distributing a call today , Was thinking about the clutch kit from EPI , jettind down one from 370,380,370 to 360,370,360 , and dropping the needel 1 clip , then maybe a Tempa flow , The sled is to hard on gas .... oh ya and one more thing ... putting the stock muffler back on , the B&B Eliminator is to loud hahaha or I'm getting to old .... What do you think ?

With stock pipes you should see 8200-8300 on the tach. Anything less and you are losing power. Most Mach Zs of that year could pull those rpm's on clicker 2 or 3. If you need to go to 4 for warm weather or deep snow that would be OK but if you are on 4 or higher on hard pack and cold temps you may have another issue to deal with. Could be as simple as clutch alignment but may be a lot of other things. I would go through both clutches and inspect. Replace any worn parts and check secondary tension. 14-17 works good on this sled.
