Hey, my name is Tom. New to snowmobiling and after a great trip up to Tug Hill, NY, I want to buy something used For around $2500. I want to mostly trail ride but be able to get her up and going once in a while. What do you think would give me the most bang for the buck?
Thanks for any input.
The Polaris Edge sleds with the 700 engine may be in your price range. They have good power and have a great ride on the trails. Sleds from 2004 and beyond will have the Polaris Electronic Reverse Control (some of the 2003 sleds had it, too.) Set up right, you can easily hit in the 90's. With some work, triple digits can be had in the right snow conditions if you have a need for speed.
Thanks,
I went a little higher. Picked up a 2003 MKZ800 for $2900. Really nice, 2400 miles. Cant wait to use it.
