What jets should I be running to be safe at about -15 degree F. 2001 MXZ 800 with Crank Shop twin pipes and shaved head by Crank Shop. Also, Crank Shop says to unhook the DPM. They claim that with the pipes the DPM actually works opposite of how it was designed.

Well I have never heard that the dpm works the opposite with twin pipes since the pipes have nothing to do with the dpm what so ever, but I am running 600 mains with my modded 01 800. Look in the classifieds for a list of the mods done.

Thanks for the input. By the way, your sled looks great. How well do you like the pipes? I just bought the sled and am installing a 1.5" paddle and gearing the top down a tooth for more grunt. I don't know if the twin pipes or the stock one will give me the best setup for powder riding.

I don't have an 800 ,but we doo have a 700 with dpm and crankshops pipes that have been on the sled for 3 years I think I only went up to 300 -310 mains(stock was 280) I have not ridden it at -15 nor do I think it will live long there with out re-jetting.but I do not believe the dpm story,as I have seen differant.
