When i brake moderate to hard from higher speeds (80-100+) to a complete stop I hear a clunk at the moment I release the brake and take off again, sounds to be coming from clutch or front of track. Now If I hold the brake hard after stopping than throtle up to start engaging clutch before releasing brake it will not do this.
Just wondering if its the secondary sticking open than smaking closed again, or the rails sticking on bad sliders? this problem is not effecting performance at all, I'm just anal and like to know every sound and quirk from my machine.
Any input would be appreciated

first check your chain tension and if it still does it then you must have electronic reverse. mine does the same thing.

Chain tension was one of fisrt things I checked. How would erev cause this clunck? Did you have it looked at?

You just answered your own question, now dont doooooooo that.
Paul is right the RER is whats doing it. Somtimes it can also be where the drive lugs on your track contact the drivers. Your lugs drive on one side and brake on the other when you lock the track.
