I love the Phazer concept even with a 80hp engine

BUT good God it sounds aweful

I was on the lake 10days ago and there was about 3-4 Phazers

Sounds like a sick quad

Maybe I am use to the sound the Vector/RX/Apex makes[/b]
to funny come to think of it it does sound sick....ha ha...

that's what they saying room for more hp but the frame might not handle it is what dealer was saying to us...

lot's of room for bags on the sled just seen a tank bag yesterday one behind the windsheild and one on the back of the seat that fits good....the only problem is they want so much money for them...I have a bunch of them on our RX1 and I paid well over 250 for them....I guess in time I will do it again....

Many of the vectors and apex's use quite a bit of oil until the rings get seated, good idea to keep tabs on it. Being dry sump there is also sort of a procedure to get an accurate level check. 1 guy didn't bother and toasted his motor riding it out with low oil pressure, shoulda put injector oil or something in it but hought it would be ok.

I have read a couple of reviews on the Phazer and have heard a lot about an overheating problem, you did say that to get to the antifreeze you have to take apart half the sled, is the overheating really a problem or just fabricated. I have had no such issues but have not rode the sled that much this year.
Thanks

I talk to the guy this weekend on the lake we were riding

It sounds nice

It is actually quieter then my sled with the Supertrap

I also talked another guy and they both love the sled

they both knew it was 80hp and did not care to get a 100+hp sled

that said they both said it was torquy and feels more powerful then they thought it would

Well I did get on the Phazer the son sunk it real good so I had to get it out....we where in some real good drifts so I ran it out you now like I stole it....boy did I have a blast throwing that light weight around in them drifts....unreal

we went to gas up both sleds the Phazer and RX1 well here is something I put 16.00 in the RX1 and 16.00 in the Phazer we both went the same distance...

we plain on going out today I will keep track of the distance and the L.T. we use on both sleds the wife will be riding the Phazer...

Yes I was asked about over heating on the Phazer no over heating problems as of yet...talking with the dealer they say snow build up in front of the exchanger....

If you look close at the picture you can see how the snow melts on the Phazer and could make your boots wet...

520 kms on it:
- coolin' broblems at low (very) speed when opening wood-trails (near 0 celcius)
- suspension too soft for rough trails
- "nose" Yami-badge dropp off somewhere

So, no big broblems at all.And it IS fun to ride.

Someone in central Newfoundland just bought one of those. It's the first one I've seen in person, and was probably the one on the floor, again the first one offered for sale in this area. He looked like he had fun, but was taking his time. It will be nice to see how it makes out, however it is A LOT LARGER in person that I had ever imagined.
