Default Easier Start

Almost forgot....you can install a larger diameter rewind on your 95. It came stock on the newer skidoo's. Will help make it easier.

I see the original topic is from 2003, but there are some interesting sub-topics now.

Skidoo's in the 90's were pretty tough to pull over. I have a Touring 380 that is harder to pull than my Polarix 600 triple. Although, when cold outside (-20), the 380 is not much harder to pull where the Polaris is 3x harder.

I really like the idea of putting a larger pulley on it. I have a '95 Summit 583 that gets tough to pull at colder temps.

Sorry for the 2nd post. Something my brother pointed out with these older Summits, the HACV will "deflate" over time and your gas milage can go down hill.

I do most of my riding at the same altitude and really didn't have a need for the HACV, so he took the thing off and we re-jetted the machine using a similar motor/carb specs for the jet sizes and it now runs much better and I get much better fuel economy. Even when I took it to the mountains it still ran great all the way to the top.
