Default questions about polaris xlt 580

hi all newbie here to the forum, but not new to snowmobiles,i have a 1993 polaris xlt runs ok but its boggy, so did compression test well time for top end rebuild all 3 cylinder are at 100 psi, took heads off, cylinders look good not scored up, question is do you think i should just go with new pistons and rings and hone job or do i need to bore it and go oversize? sled has 4500 miles on it, thanks

Sounds to me like you jumped the gun pulling the head off. A bog could be a fuel system problem, ignition, or even clutching.

Default Compression

Dont usually see high compression #s on Polaris triples. I have seen many gauges vary 10 to 15 lbs and if this is the case compression would be fine.
