yup i have the 2 degree key, you might need to rejet up i didn't cause it was running rich to begin with. the only other thing is you gotta run 92 octane gas anything less you'll get bad gas mileage and may lose a little performance cause it's not set up to burn anything less. i put mine in along with a power breather and v force reeds and boy did it wake it up my zrt bottm end was quicker and snappy. i haven't noticed or put it to the test but i hear the key makes you lose a little top end. also i know that the more cc's you have the bigger the difference it will make.

Just a quick correction.
The requirement for the +92 octane is to help prevent detonation, which frequently claims the lives of engines with advanced timing keys in the hands of inexperienced tuners.
Octane level, for all intensive purposes, has nothing to do with fuel economy. When using an advanced timing key AND running less than 92 octane, it's not a performance loss; Your asking for a burn down...

I'd like to also add that when you install these advanced timing keys, or advance your timing, most of the time, you should richen up the main jet 1-3 sizes (depending on amount of advance), run 92-93 octane fuel (if your sled ran on reg. or mid grade before advanced timing) like above posts mention, and also that you could probably gain some acceleration by going heavier weight or softer primary spring and running engine at about 100-200rpm less than at stock timing, as advancing timing usually lowers max. powerband rpm, because more heat is in cylinder and less into pipe (meaning a little cooler pipe that lowers peak h.p. rpm), and there usually is a gain in power from bottom end to upper midrange, but often a little loss in top end.
Hope this helps !

Lots of better ways to get safer h/p gains than timing keys. Great stuff for a lake/drag racer, poor choice for an all around sled.

i put one in mt tcat and noticed nothing .i still run 87 octane and have had no problems yet over 1000miles.i watch my egts and they went up a bit but not too much.one thing i did notice on the tcat is where the pickup coil mounts there is an easy 2* adjustment there.if you loosen the bolts you can move it back and forth.maybe mine wasnt set right when i bought it and that is why i had no problems?
