Looking for peak RPM on a 2000 ZR600 EFI for some fine tuning on the clutching. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Service manual says 8100-8300, pipe comparisons show 8500,
I'd shoot for 8300, as the pipe heats up at wot the peak hp
slides up 100-200 rpm's or so.

Thanks for the input guys! This is a stock ZR 600 EFI. It is only pulling about 92 on radar in a 1400 ft run and I think it should run faster considering XCSP500s and ZL500s are stomping a hole in it. With the clutch kit it has it is pulling about 8500rpm. Thanks again.

Stock pipe likes 8,500 - 8,600 full shift
Adding a pipe usually drops peak hp 300 rpm or so
I'd shoot for 8400-8500 to allow for a little overshift
Anything over 8,900-9,000 and the moving internals quickly become the flying externals
