I have a 97 Indy Trail . It was working great, but has been sitting for about 3 weeks for lack of snow, it has also been sitting at an angle with the track off the ground, now the engine has ceased up. Please Help.

  • Try using Marvels Mystry Oil, Take the plugs out and spray in plug holes, disconnect the exhaust manifold spray oil on pistons , remove the drive belt and work the clutch back and forth with a wrench . Marvels Mystry Oil seems to help me Good Luck

Did you have the fuel shut off?

It is unlikely the rings are stuck.

The needle and seats could be leaking may of filled the crankcase with fuel. It will cause symptoms like that.

Pull the plugs and see if she pulls over. Go slow.

Just be sure to have the igniton off so the plugs don't light the fuel from the plug holes.

I'm not sure if that model has drain holes in the lower crankcase. Mine are in the front near the bottom. Have a look and if there is you can drain the fuel there.

I had that happen to my doo last year and it was full of fuel. I pulled the plugs and pulled and pulled an pulled as it didn't have the drain plugs in the case. Fuel was even leaking out of the exhaust flange. Once she was dry it lit right up. It turned out to be a loose seat in the carb.

Let us know how you make out.
