my dad is getting tired of running efi sleds, he is a guy that likes top performance even though he drives a touring sled. he is planning on tradding in his 02 pantera this spring, but is wondering if its possible to get one with carbs. anybody know of this, or here of it. thanx

It has 2 VM38 carbs, 80HP.

I was going to get one, as I was tired of my '95 EFI problems. I opted for the 600EFI(110hp), with a 5 year warranty. I'm glad I did. It is a super machine.

I have a 2002 Pantera 550... i like this machine alot and i think it is comparable to the 600 but the only think i dont like is not having EFI.... i say stick with the EFI..... i hate sitting there playing with the choke button while everyone else starts there machine once and there off. the older crowd usually will try to stay with there carb machines bc thats all they know.... but i think the EFI is a good idea.... i would love it if they came out with a 550 EFi i think thats the next good idea. im stpeeing up to a Pantera 800 EFI hopefully by the end of this year
