Blew my engine up. Dealer says $1,500 approx to fix. I'm hoping to just get another engine at a decent price. Anyone out there who has a 583 motor for sale? Is there another engine I can put in a S-Chassis such as a 670? Modifications needed if I do? Any help appreciated.

There was a real good deal on the classifieds of this board couple of days ago 583 complete(clutch carbs ,exaust electrical,etc.)

HI I HAVE A 1998 670 ENGINE THAT WOULD WORK GREAT FOR YOU..YOU WILL NEED CARBS,EXHAUST,IT HAS THE Y PIPE,AIRBOX,RECOIL..I WOULD GIVE YOU A GOOD DEAL IF YOU ARE INTERESTED..
