WELL I MISSED THE TRAIL SO I TRYED BACKING UP ON A SIDE ROAD.SO I PUT IT IN REV AND TURNED BACKWARDS TO LOOK BEHIND ME.SO I USED MY LEFT HAND ON THE THROTTLE AND PUT MY RIGHT HAND N THE BAR ON THE BACK .WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS. GAVE HER A LITTLE TO MUCH THROTTLE AND I GOT THE WOBLE GOING.AND BANG RIGHT IN THE DITCH . :doh: FLIPPED RIGHT UPSIDE DOWN IN THE DITCH .NOW I NEED A WINDSHIELD &MIRROR. THOSE RER REVERSE CAN GO PRETTY QUICK BACKWARDS I FOUND OUT. WELL I KNOW NOT TO DO THAT AGAIN EXPENSIVE MISTAKE THAT WAS.

Yes, that reverse gear can put you in some compromising positions. I remember when me and my riding freinds 1st started getting mechanical reverse kits put in our sleds in the early '90's. One of my bud's was showing off going backwards about 40mph and BAM! he was on his side. :doh: It was like an invisible hand picked him up and slammed him down. You have to be careful when going backwards.

LOL> Thats what one of my friends did on his Polaris. Although it dosnt have RER it still goes pretty fast. I said " i wonder how fast it would go in reverse" so he goes lets check, he puts it in reverse and kicks it to the boards in reverse going up a hill on a slant. The hill pulled him and he almost hit a tree. He never tried that again.
