im going to look at one on tues at a local dealer, im just curious as to so some of the pros/cons of it, hows the mpg, powerband,horse, engine reliability, engine problems, recalls, tps setting problems....also the sled has got reverse on it...how much weight does this add, how much xtra maintence is it (if any) is it harder to clutch with reverse do the gearing setup??? thanks -INDY

i don't think it comes with reverse of any kind
fast for a 600
good ditch banger suspension

its an Edge X....not a Pro-X...sorry for the confusion,,,,any other opinons out there?? hoping it has the same relability of my 99 500XCSP.... :thumbsup: -INDY

I have an 02 500 edge X and i just love the thing.. great handling machine..no problems with it..700 miles on it...got it a bit over 100 mph on the speedo...but not sure how fast that really is... Hope this helps in any way! Ride Polaris!

I have about 900 miles on mine and love it... It doesn't have reverse, so I can't help you with the added weight question, but mine is completly stock, the only thing thats been done to it is a plug change. It runs real good, the power is there in all ranges.I haven't checked the MPG, that would vary on how you ride. The only problem I have had (if you would call it that) is I had a little injector oil blow back on to the starter rope, I just don't fill it to full and it cured that. Good luck.
