When I was reading about the new Polaris sleds they seem to go in depth on all the sleds except for the mountain sleds. I think maybe they got a new mountain snowmobile coming that their not telling us about. What does everyone else think?

i definitly am thinking we(snowmobiling community as a whole) are going to be blown away by what polaris has in store for us in 2005...im thinkin we are going to see new chassis: a arms??? dont think itll be a REV wannabe will be competive (if not may god help polaris employees cause they will be out of work) new engines(ficht, DI something, release of the rumour 4-stroke turbo ) maybe reintroduce at least one triple for those who love them and improvement upon existing engines...other odds and ends...sks 500: 128,133, or 136 w/ 1.375 track would be nifty, maybe its just me but kill the 340 fan and do like 440 fan(xcf type setup)...just some opinons what bout others...-INDY

I believe the first signs of a new sled from polaris will be next years 440 racer. they will use it to race with for the season then release it to the consumers. At the dealer show in florida this week Polaris has said they are cutting snowmobile production by 30% and they cut it by 20% last year. they are trying to be sure to have all the old stuff sold so they can release the new stuff for the 50th.

A buddy of mine just came back from the dealer show in Orlando. I asked him, he said thats it. The new tail lights are snow check only. Good because i don't like them. Also he said the prox 800 r is awesome. And thats the total line up. His dad owns the dealership so he got to go that brat. LOL
