I'v always been the person who respects and looks up to the Thundercats and Mach Z's. To me their a pure adrenaline rush, and nothing comes close to feeling the same way (not even intercourse). Ski Doo went from one year having original style sleds, to BOOM a whole new style, and looking at the 2004's it's safe to say if you were a Ski Doo rider who did not care for the REV's....looks like there could be alot of brand switching. I think it's a little BS, killing the supply of triples and bringing in alien shaped snowmobiles. When I see a triple, even a older year, like for example the 96 Mach Z's, those things are beasts, pure hunks or iron. Look at these REV's and it looks like with one roll over they could brake in two with all the plastic on them. I have been a loyal Ski Doo rider for 11 years, and if it wasnt for the Mach Z's I would have a Cat suit on in a day. I currently own a 95 Formula Z, and my heart is set solid without a thought that this spring I will pick up a left over 2002 or 2003 Mach Z, and with the way people are dumping them for the REV's it looks in my favor. I dont get people, im all for the muscle, im all for the original. If I wanted to ride on a sled that had the suspension of BMW, I would buy a BMW. Thanks, but no thanks Ill take a Mach Z any day over those yellow unidentified objects. For motivation so that half way through spring or summer I dont buy a car or a differant sled itstead I have put a large banner of a Mach Z across my bedroom wall, just so everyday when I come home from busting my balls at work wanting to quit, I can take one glance at that picture and all I can do is smile, and wake up the next day and do it all over again. And as much as I wish i had the sled now, looking forward to something feels just as good. I believe Ski Doo took a complete 180 with there style of snowmobiling, from the service they provide, to the style of the new sleds, and the one and only thread that keeps me wearing a red and yellow jacket is that beast, hunk of iron, adrenaline filled, big balled, 809 pumpin, REV EATIN, monster, a monster by the name of Mach Z

I agree with you on some points MR Z as the power of the machs is very impressive but they doo leave alot to be desired in other areas. If you wanna be king of the lake then they are the bomb but if ya run the twisties all the time they can be a little overwhelming to say the least. I myslef am a traditionalist and am still not sure if the REV is for me. I am pretty sure i will be keeping the gade for another year. As far as crash durability goes tho the REV has the ZX's beat hands down every time. For one there is no trailing arm to push back, ( we wrote two sleds off ourselves this week because of trailing arms and had another 4 come into the dealer written off too because off this design. With the A-arm,(RAS) set up on the REVS they just bend and you replace for a couple of hun, Assembly and dissasembly of the ball joint is the hardest part. I know that people say that the A-arms on the REVS are weak, but think about it as this could be a good thing in a way as just the arm bends instead of the bulkhead and tunnel also. WE have also seen many revs do high speed rolls flips and endos and most of the time all we have to do is replace part of the windshield ($100 CAD) and sometimes even just pop it back on. The PRO's are adding up for the REV but my concern is can my messed up legs take that postion all day long. ???

Why wait till after Highschool? As long as you work during the week after school and work full time summer a sled is very affordable. I make 7 bucks an hour in the winter ...and 10 in the summer landscaping and i just got my winter job today or I would of had a new sled prob last month....Ya figure buy a sled for 6 grand, get a 4 year loan and there you go. A 6k loan @ 4 years would be 1k a year, making your monthly payments at 83 bucks lol, so 3 month payment being 250 bucks. And insurance is a one time fee of what...150-200 bucks? I own a 92 VW Jetta and as long as it runs, ill stick my money to sledding anyday..I mean jeezus, for 6k I can have a sled that is faster than a BMW....go figure

I sold my Mach Z early this winter and have regreted it since. I love my rev in the trails but i do alot of drag raceing and lake runs and the Rev just aint cutting it. Rest assured i'll have an 03 Mach next winter, i have more fun going fast in a strait line than i do going fast in the trails. I'm addicted to drag raceing i gotta have my Mach

MR Z it is good that you have your priorities straight. I was the same way for years. I drove beaters on the road but had a brand new sled every year. On the road there is no fun to be had , legally anyways ??? The fun factor on a sled however is almost unmeasurable The thing that finally made me get a newer vehicle was the fact that I needed to trailer to Cochrane because of the crappy winters we were having. Hopefully Bombi is working on a Mach replacement. IF they are I hope they take there time and doo it right and not rush things. IT will be worth it in the end. SWRules

I love sledding and get a new sled every other year but you're comment is a little off base here buddy. Unless of course you haven't yet :0:
