Its time to do a coolant flush on my SRX and I was wondering if this is difficult. I have heard stories about people who do not bleed the system properly and end up overheating. I am assuming if I follow the manual then it should come out ok but my question is will it be that easy? Does the manual make it look easier than it is? I am just concerned with whether or not I bleed the system properly.

We clushed my mxz once...all we did is disconnect the hoses in and out and send some air through one side...LOOKOUT!

What you guys are talking about is a coolant change , not a coolant flush. To do a coolant flush you must take your machine to a shop who has the proper macnine to do this. Flushing is usually done backwards to help remove any debrisand sludge from the system , just like your car.
