I was wondering what temp would be considered to warm to ride?I have a liquid cooled sled and it's gonna be 50f here tomorrow but we still have about a foot of snow and will be my last weekend to ride. But on the other hand I don't want to ruin my sled from the heat.Any suggestions on what temp would be to warm?

As long as you have snow for coolant your good to go.Actually my sled runs cooler in the warm weather as there is lots of nice wet snow and slop to fly up on the heat exchangers. It runs hotter when it -30 out and the trails are hard as a rock and there is only a very fine snowdust flying up for coolant.Look at the guys who ashpalt drag, aslong as they exchange the coolant for cooler stuff between rounds they're good to go in the heat of the summer.Just don't sit around idleing for too long and you should be fine.

Just keep an eye on your Temp guage if you have a Doo....if not just check your heads once in a while when you stop..if you cant hold your hand on them for a bit then you have something to worry about.

If there's snow, you're good to go!

I was wondering that also, after the races yesturday the brotherinlaws temp gauge said it was close to 70, and we went riding on the pond, there was plenty off water to keep the sled cool, but i had been wondering the same thing.
