Hi again everybody. I know i must be getting annoying but i need some help so i can fix this over the summer.
One of the big main idler wheels on the back of the suspension (rear) fell off. And the bolt didnt come out, theres like a little ring thing that broke on the actaully shaft and all the bearings are gone and the thing that holds the bearings is screwed. The idler wheel itself looks fine, but now i am completely stumped.
I will hope to get a picture for everyone to see. Will this be expensive to fix? Do i need a whole new rear shaft or skid?? HELP!!

Sounds like the retaining ring (jesus clip) that holds the bearing in the wheel came out of it's groove. If so, at most you need a new wheel/bearing assembly, or maybe just a new bearing and clip. Are you sure that the bearing is not still on the shaft?

462,
then just take out the bolt and the remainder of the bearing will come off too. take the snap ring out of the idler and take out the outer part of the bearing. then just put it back together.

My take on this is that the bearing seized and the spit the bearing cage, seals, and balls out. What's left is outer race (In the wheel) and the inner race (On the shaft). If a new bearing fits tight in the wheel, you should be OK with just a bearing.

Sounds right. You can get a new bearing at CT or Royal, but you will need a set of internal snap ring pliers to properly mount it in the wheel.

Yes, u guys are right. I think you've hit it rite on! So what i need is.........
1) the thing that all those little bearings go into (whats that called)
2) the little bearings the go in the idler wheel
3) the bearing on the shaft (whats that called) (just so i know the terms for when i call Royal or whatever)
4) Will just stantard needle-nose plyers work?? Or?? I dont have to remove the skid either rite??

You need a bearing. It's a sealed unit, there are no seviceable parts. Go anywhere that sells bearings and tell them you want a 6205 bearing. They'll know what you want and you'll see what we're talking about then. You'll have to remove what's left of the old bearing from the wheel and the shaft before reassembly. The skid doesn't have to come out, just the bolt that held the wheel on.
