Stickers may add some horsepower, but they also add drag and added weight. This overcomes the added horsepower and results in a loss of top end and off the line acceleration. For about $495, one can add high performance stickers, which reduce the drag coefficent to less than .029, and results in a savings of 12 grams. Your mileage may vary....

On a serious note, anyone have any good ideas on removing the sticky goo from stickers? I've tried to remove a sticker that was on the windshiled which left the glue backing. Nothing worked. However, if I just rubbed it with my thumb, eventually it would come off and roll up in a wad. Ok for small stickers, but not for large graphics. Took me about an hour or work split over a couple days to remove a 3"x5" sticker off the windshield.

So, any secret formulas??

Windex. Use windex and a lot of rubbing.

Depending on the sticker, it usually helps to apply heat (hair dryer or heat gun). Then use goo gone. Read the label, it can disolve some plastics.

WD-40 works great for that, but it does leave a residue that you will have to clean off if you want ot put a different sticker there or repaint. But I think rubbing alcohol will take the WD-40 off. Haven't tried that yet thout..all I know is that WD-40 takes the glue off with hardly any rubbing.

I second the use of a heat gun followed by goo gone. That stuff flat out works, I used it to remove the glue from last years trail permit on my windshield with no damage. Rated A+.

Goo Gone will work. After you apply it, let it soak in for a while then start rubbing.
