I just picked up my neighbours old mahine that was in good condition except its now been left outside for 8 years. I cleaned out the gas tank and carb and also replaced all the gas and oil lines along with with the filters and spark plugs. Ive been pulling the thing all evening it seems that one plug has more spark than the other can any help ! I dont want to put to much money in the thing. ???
could have corrision on the wires leading to the spark plugs, that could create a bad pathway for the current to travel. You might want to try changing the wires i dont think it would cost that much..

the carb/carbs probably need a good cleaning. Check for cracks or air leaks at the carb manifold. It may be sucking air and causing it to lean out. An easy test for this, would be squirt a little carb cleaner at the manifold while running, if there is an air leak it will draw the cleaner in and cause the engine to rev up for a moment. A word of caution....I hope you have an extinguisher handy. Always expect the worst when working on something like that, you never know when some fuel could start leaking out of somewhere and start a fire.
Good luck with it
Todd
