Question

we have an old "bomber", late 70's. *had it working okay up til this winter. *it won't stay running anymore unless gas is poured into the carb...it won't suck gas on it's own. *Why?

is their junk over the screne in the gas tank? try replacing all the hoses. if theirs a fuel filter replace that. *

if it has a tillitston carb it might need a complete diaphram rebuild kit

when you say it wont suck gas are you saying it wont pull it from the gas tank or wont pump it throught the carb if its not pulling it from the tank check all the gas lines in side the tank they get hard with age and crack or break off in the tank rebuild the fuel pump *if its not pumping it through carb check to see that the needle and seat is working this is common on old doos
