Around 50 MPH is all you'll get from it, as long as it's flat ground. About all you can do to make it faster is get a bigger sled, they were made to be simple, slow and dependable.

If you could change the ignition on it you could hit 70. There's a rev limiter built in

Hate to tell ya man but getting any performance out of Bravo's is gonna be rare. Back in the day i drove my dads SRV 540 fan and totally wooped on it. They may be good sleds for hills and blazing trails cause of the long track. but if you want perfomance ya may want to look in to a different sled.

They are great starter sleds for kids moving up from Minis. A friend races vintage Yamahas-he said a Bravo 250 is normally good for 40-50 mph.

Bravo's can go that fast?? I bought one for my 11 year old son as a present for Christmas, and old 88. Is this gonna be too much sled for him?
