What Is This

The is what looks like a fuel line that runs up over the steering column where the hood comes down. It runs down to just above the left foot rest where it just ends. On my 97 mxz 583 this hose/line has been damaged (worn thru).
Can anyone tell me if this is just a vent line. Does it need to be replaced

fuel tank vent line, depending on where its broke you might just jerry rig repair it

Yes a vent line and make sure it is not kinked or plugged or you will lean out and hole a piston.

Yup she bee a vent line. Don't let it plug up. I've seen tanks suck in and mufflers get red hot and catch on fire doo to this.

No chance of getting plugged as it is rippe dhte shreds in two places
