Did anyone read the article in Snow Tech on the new Paragon clutch?
WOW! Is all I can say. Having the sheaves moving together would make a major difference in performance and heat.
Never really thought to much about it until now. Wish the price tag wasn't almost $800.00. I could see this clutch winding up as OEM equipment someday.
Read the article and tell us what you think.
How about you Dynamo^joe, you seem to be pretty much an expert on secondary operation, bet this has got you think'in.....

Yes I read the article, it looks very impressive. I especially like the external adjusment screws. This thing is definatley going to be the format that will dominate the future.

Yes, the external spring tention and belt deflection adjustments is a big +.
Another thing I like is the changeable center unit for any type of jackshaft you have, also works on electronic reverse.
Like to see it in action, I'am sure it will put ANY secondary built to date to shame!
Might be worth $800.00 because it would be the last secondary you would EVER have to buy.

Some model where equipped with a secondary that was not going backward when
opening and closing in the 60's....It was very simple too. It would also be rer friendly too.... If you have a good memory some will remember what Im talking about...

I would rather do it this way....

How about you guys take a highligher and highlight "Points" in the article.
When I mean "Points", I mean the "One liners", the distinguishing details that are essential to what made you guys go..."wow!"

Like the sentence where the word "scrub" is used.
Someone write that sentence out here....as an example of what was a distinguishing detail.

I have so many emails to attend to....*sorry*
