Does anybody know where I can get carbide runners for a snow scoot? I looked around and the manufactures I looked into don't list snow scoots or no carbide version of the runners. The reason I need carbide is I put studs in the track and the front end slids out on the hard pack / ice. I think I'll have to take a set in to a shop and see if I can get something close and modify them. Any Ideas would be helpful.

Royal Distributing up here in Canada lists a set of carbides for that machine (whether they'll actually have them in stock is another thing..). They might be able to help you out, if they can ship to you in the US, or direct you to a local distributor.

Hossman, Thanks for the info. After I posted this I went through every catalog I had and I found that roetin has a set also. Strange thing though, I looked through 5 catalogs and all of them had roetin runners but only Spanky's had them listed for the snow scoot. Looks like I need a royal ditributing catalog. Thanks again for the info. Now I can get them from who ever has them in stock.
