I know there is a different in sizes such as 320/320N or 530/530N. OK so if you where to put them in order how would it go: 300- 320, 320N, 330. You know. Where does the N come into place?

I was just wondering where the "n's" would go in the order of sizes such as: 500, 510, 520, 530, 530n, 540..... I don't believe that is where the 530n ranks in order of sizes.

a buddy of mine had this same question. he was told by his dealer that the n designation after a jet size, says that the jet was flow tested. he also had to pay more for the n jets. any one have any input on this subject.

just curious,I read a post and the corresponding were talking about sizes in the 140"s,They seemed to be talking about newer sleds. So I thought to myself why such small jets.Is this for fuel injection or is it the smaller the # the larger the jet?I dont need to be called stupid just was confused by the size's.My sleds are at 260 and 240 and need more fuel so I dont burn up.

Mikuni had a R&d problem. They didn't fuel flow check anything over 500 at one point and the bit used to make the hole in the jets was worn making the hole smaller. Actually polaris discovered this problem first with the 520 jets being leaner than the 500 jets. The N just means that the jet is what it says it is per fuel flow. They are not any more money than the regular jets. I got this info straight from a mikuni rep at the mukuni factory, very hard to understand though his english was very bad.

great info!!! wow talk about quality controle issues in the jet department! jets this big i have not had to play with yet. a burned piston is no fun. my friend bought a pile of jets and all the n jets were 9.50, and the non N jets were 4.50.must be a polaris dealer thing. from mikuni they are most likely the same price. all jets he ended up with were genuine mic jets. and i know about dealing with the factory english barrier, i work for bmw and some of there tech line reps are not from around here for sure!! i was told there tech info goes from german to english uk then english us. much is lost. great site

its not quality control or flow testing. jets above 500 (not including 500) increase in flow at a different rate. it just happened that the 520 was smaller than the 500, because the 500 is at the 500 and below flow rate increase. confused yet?
the N size jets were made to simplify jetting above 500.
if your in the 300s you dont have to ever worry about them.

sounds like someones making alot of money off of uninformed consumers.
