I need to no ur weight to give u the proper clutch set-up.Ur tach has to be calibrated and ur suspession has to be set-up properly too,all this is a big factor. The sled should rev 7950rpm for fast trail. :christmas:
Brock, maybe you can answer a question for me please. I have an 03 prox7 that is running too many rpm's. I have a 70/ 42-44 team helix, cdi update,almond/red primary, red/blue sec. 64g weights, tach calibrated 100 rpm low I'm running 8100 on my tach which equates to 8200 actual motor rpm. I think I should be at 7800-7900 on my tach. By just adding 66g weights how much will that bring my rpm's down? any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks :christmas: I'm 205 lbs.
Brock thanks for replying. My weight would be arouind 230-235 thats dressed for the snow. AS for tach calibration it shows around 8000 now so just my assumption is that it is reading high but thats just my guess never been calibrated. Can most dealers do that? Or anyway i can do it at home? as for suspension seems good for everyday trail but could use little extra weight transfer haven't moved my scissors stops as i don't want to go that route and sacrifice ski weight anything you have to be of assistance or for that matter even some starting points will be greatly appreciated
1 gram of primary clutch weight should drop your rpm's down approx 750-1000 rpm
at least in my case that's what happened
I have an 02 700 and i went from 62 to 67 grams of weight with a 190 340 spring
my rpm max is about 8 grand
I went Heel Clickers and a CAT roller secondary
awesome set up pulls like you wouldn't believe

For ur weight(205lbs) Primary clutch:66gram weights ,yellow EPI Secondary:66/44.46 or 68/44.46,Red/Blue TEAM Spring, the helix that u mentioned can work too(70/42.46)I'm assuming u want fast trail set-up?Gearing should be done also, with a calibrated tach the sled should rev 7950rpm at the very highest. If u want to no more just ask. :christmas:
