Well some time while I was in the house on Sunday night, at least 2 SCUMBAGS slithered into my backyard, cut the 2, half-inch steel aircraft cables tying my sled to the trailer and a fence post, uncovered it, untied it, pulled it off of the trailer, cut a huge gash into my chainlink fence around the pool to gain access to my shed, proceeded to steal 3 gas cans out of it, fill up the sled, then pushed it behind Jacqui's 5th wheel trailer and started it. They then drove off through the cemetery and out onto the road. They most likely had a pickup truck waiting down the road.
It's a 1998 Skidoo MXZ 500. Here's a pic incase anybody comes across any familiar looking parts.
Better luck to all of you in keeping our beloved sources of so much enjoyment during the winter months. I'm sure that now that I'm sledless, It'll snow 36 inches next week.
Jeff

A sledders worst nightmare!! Hope you find it soon and still intact. Looks like they had to work to get it. the scary thing is it doesn't matter how secure you make it if someone wants it bad enough they'll walk through fire for it. those

That really blows Jeff. I'd like to say I hope they catch them, but you know the odds of that. It is gettin bad. A friend near Innerkip got hit twice last winter, so beware they may be back!!! They had to move a ton of stuff in his shed the second time, and the cops refused to even attempt to get prints!!!! What the hell is up with that???? And when he said he was going to set one up as a bait trap, they said they would charge him if they did. Seems pretty odd to me how they think, but they have time to charge Dougie (our trail co-ordinator) who is out on his 4-wheeler workin on the trails!!!!!!! Austin

Sorry to hear Jeff What goes around comes around. I have a very large swamp in the back of my place if you ever find them. There are also lots of bears and wolves. I sure hope your sled is recovered.
