Here's the forecast for my area, can't wait!

Today Jan 01 Partly Cloudy 41°/33°
Fri Jan 02 Cloudy 48°/44°
Sat Jan 03 Rain / Snow Showers 49°/27°

Please, take a moment and look at the dates. We are talking January folks, not October...

FreezerBurnt, how much ice on the lakes? It looks like I'll be riding in your area this season again (like in 2001/2002)

On Whitewater Lake in Azilda there is about 12" of ice, been riding on that lake for a month now

Vermillion and Gordon just northwest of Chemmy there is about 8+inches of ice

Bros inlaw ice fished on the 28th on Gordon Lake

Bros inlaw and Bros went Ice fishing About 15minutes north of Chemmy(Nickel Offets) on the Jan 1st(opening of Speckle trout) and said there was a foot and half of snow up there(higher up hills) but ice was not that thick due to all the snow on the lakes up there but around 5-6 inches

They are going again tomorow morning

They say we are expecting 5-10cm tonight(believe when I see it ) and might have snowstorm Sunday night/Monday w00t

I will be riding tomorow afternoon after bros bring sled back

Trail are rideable but not non groomable yet(railway bed trail btw)

I here the Parry Sound Muskoka area is supposed to be hit hard with snowsquawl starting Monday

Corey where do you live in lower Michigan. I live in Swartz Creek about 20 Miles due west of Flint and they are calling for a winter storm sunday night into monday and calling for snow every day after that. All next week it is only going to get a high of 22 oF and lows in the teens  :christmas: . I know the weather people are wrong most of the time but I've checked about 6 different places and are all calling for the same thing.

LET IT SNOW!!!!!!!

Ian

The long-term weather forecast for central Ontario looks good starting late next week. Let's hope it holds true. I am getting antsy now.
