I have a bravo with no spark. where should I start looking. does anybody have the spec's for the ignition. what should I have comming from the stator( volts ac). or any ohm's checks to do. any info would be great. thanks
i had the same trouble with my 1987 bravo. Id first check the ignition coil before id start taking the flywheel off bcuz sometimes those ignition coils give out too.... but sometimes the bravos usualy blow one of the inside coild on the stator plate behind the flywheel... especially if they are laid up for a long time and moisture gets in there.. swithcing these coils are a bit tricky cuz they got glue on the wires and all this shit so u can do that if you want too.... but u can probably buy a second hand motor for the same price as a new coil... id just switch the full stator plate from one motor to the other one and you should have your problem fixed...thats what i did.... dunno if this will help you but i tried...
