Hey,

I'm looking for peoples experiences on the snowhawk machines. I live in southern BC so I'll be using it in fairly deep snow. I plan on using it to climb a bit too but not any insane climbs. I plan on getting the 600HO with the long track. How will that work for powder and climbing? I ride a dirtbike in the spring, summer and fall so I'm hoping the transition won't be too hard.

I heard that a snowhawk can highmark against 700s and some 800s. Is that true? If it is, that would be great! One more thing, is there anything that a snowhawk can't really do that a normal sled can? I want to be able to ride with other snowmobilers and have them want me around and not slow them down or anything.

Thanks

I tried one in a pit........i did not like it (to be fair i only went for 5 minutes)....but there was a guy there who rides dirt bikes at the pro-level and i could not believe it was his first time on it ..doing big air no problem, cornering full throttle, they told me if i had more seat time i would adapted....and it was only a fan cool ...but for your application it might be a blast.

I can't really comment on my own riding experiance on the machines but I have seen them at the WSA events. To be honest I would rather watch old people eat ( Sorry Rob ). rather boring if you ask me. They didn't seen to have the power of a 440 sled. The sled guys were getting bigger and more air as well. Watched one guy lay it down in a corner and he couldn't pick it up. Always wanted to try one though.

don't know if this is true, but I herd that is wasn't leagal in the trails. For more info, try asking your question on the snowest site. www.snowest.com
I have seen a couple of extreme video's with some guys driving the hawk, and I was amazed on how well it took the deep powder. The guys were flying in the mountains with that sled. The 600HO seemed to have allot of power.
