Ever since i went riding in Gaylord on the trails i have been thinking about getting a different sled with better suspension and a little faster. So my question for you guys is-how much do you think my sled is worth? Here is a list of mods and work done to it:It's an 88' Indy 400 with 5500 miles on it,custom painted black hood, red screens, red skid plate, red ski skins, low black windshield, new seat cover, red headlight cover, custom rear drop brackets, new slides, new 1" track(300miles on it),new front shocks, new 4in. carbides, rebuilt clutchs, tuneup, red running boar grips, hand and thumb warmers. So how much do you think it's worth?I will have pics when i get them developed.

NADA says anywhere from $500-$800 the higher mileage would prolly outweigh the mods and keep it in this price range, i would guess.

3 years ago I bought my 1988 Indy Trail 488 with 4,000 miles. It had a brand new cover, new tall windsheild, new 2 up seat conversion, It was re-rung at 3500 miles and VERY WELL taken care of by my friend. I paid $400.00 for it. Sorry to say older sleds ain't worth much. I would think if you got $800 you would be doing good.

Sorry to say it but don't forget to mention the fact that the last 5 years there hasn't been much snow. I don't think it would be worth selling until the winters get better.

I could be wrong but a lot of the times you wont get your money back for the mods done to your sled.

If it were me I'd keep it as a backup. Sounds like you put a lot of time and some money into it. To sell it for a few hundred bucks just doesn't make sense. Keep it, you never know when you'll need an extra sled.
