Need some input on jetting recommendations. I will not be doing the jetting myself, a local expert will be doing it for me. This is the scoop.
01mxz 700
just installed boyeson reeds
runs abit rough to 5000 rpm
idles very slow
goes like stink on top end
burns lots of fuel (1/2 tank 45-50 kms)
rode in -1 C
Ride Southern Ontario ,, sea level???
plugs are 2 shades from black, not coated around tips, just burnt looking
I will pass on the info to the guy doing the jetting. Owns a local all purpose motorcycle, atv, sled shop with a very good reputation. When I mentioned this site he said see what I could dig up so he doesn't have to experiment and take extra time. Thanks a million guys

I HAD A 01 AND I DROPPED TO 480 NO PROBLEM MY HAD DPM BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER FOR BASE LINE JETTING,I WOULD GET A SET OF SPACERS TO GO WITH YOUR REEDS , I ALSO RIDE SEA LEVEL TO 1500' IN ONTARIO I ALSO GOT A CLUTCH SETUP THAT WORKS FOR THAT SLED IF YOUR INTERESTED PM ME
