i have disliked the way my REV has handled till today but it really hooked up good in the straight aways. today i started doing a little set up adjustment and after a little back and forth i set the coupling blocks to the fully coupled position which is the thick part of the block to the back of the sled.

where are others keeping the coupling blocks ?

People who want good weight transfer are going to want them in the less coupled setting. People who want good handling are going to want them in the fully coupled setting. Mine are in the fully coupled setting since I'm not into drag racing. I get enough weight transfer as it is.

i noticed the difference in the lack of traction right off the bat when i fully coupled the sled.

I have a 04 800 the sled is awsome truely has set new levels for trail riding. My blocks are uncoupled frt springs 2nd notch mid shock 3 rears 3 my weight 250.But as the trail condtions change that changes it is so easy to adjust ,hard packed fully coupled, soft powder uncoupled etc.I had a yamaha srx[ sweet motor!] but adjusting the suspension was painful. adjusting and repairing are two different things.

i really like mine on the less coupled setting. has really good pull and traction and i like the skis off the ground for a bit so i can wheelie over small bumps. the only thing i dont like is how bad it is in the deep snow (over a foot deep). i'm running a 1.65" lug track so i figure it should be half decent.

I run fully coupled. When dragging, I flip the back stopper
out of the way.

I run the "less coupled setting". In my oipinion, it's a waste to have all of that power just spinning the track no matter what kind of rider you are. I have my front ski pressure set at 4. This helps bring back some of my handling. I've put about 300 miles on this set up and it works great. It still rides as though it was on rails! I weight about 165lbs on an empty stomach.

you people that run the uncoupled positions and of course have the ski spring preload set higher, are the handlebars not hard to turn ?

i have the 800 ho and and 440 sno cross springs on the back because the factory springs suck, front maxed mid half and the back with the 440 springs three quarter, awesome riding now but alot of ski pressure, alot of darting when i'm off the gas but i'm not off the gas that much, haha fully coupled also.
