All of cats earlier triples ran really strong out of the box and with the mods you've added bill cat that baby zert should run sweet. My brother had a 97 and 00 ZRT 600 and the 97 had more power then the 00 but the 00 out handled it on the trails. once we get some snow I'll be able to find out what my ZRT can beat.

My 97 with 4k on it and is completely stock smokes a lot of sleds new and old. I wish I could get a good track for it because the original does not hook up enough for the power it has. What a great sled it is. Anyone have reccomondations on a campalast 1.25 maybe?

Just watch for clearance, I have a 1" Camoplast with 1.15 Extreme Max studs and I can just fit my finger tips between the studs and the front heat exchanger. If you get an 1.25 if will be close, then you may not be able to stud. I also have a 97 ZRT 6.
I ran 144 down the middle and the beast still spins alot. However on hard pack she really rocks. I have no problem running with bigger sleds, plus I weigh more then the guy I ride with.

BILLCAT, My 96' sounds like it's set up somewhat similar to yours and doesn't have any problems with sleds in its class and a few bigger ones, including a srx. We've raced over and over, same results I jump out a couple of sled lengths and it stays like that till top end, than the srx inches back up by about a sled length. The srx is also studded and clutched. I even outweigh him by 30lbs. I normally run a RX-1 or a 02' ZR 440 snopro but I refuse to ever get rid of my zert, love it tooooo much.

BTW Bill what is the max rpm ur sled is running? i have the D&D trail pipes clutch kit and im running 9600 according to the tach, not sure if they intended for this rpm, the engine definitly doesnt have a problem running it, it also pulls great right up to it, i wanna call D&D and ask em whats up with that and if my cam arms need to be heavier, dont need to loose the bottom end or waste time spinning rpms where i dont make good power. anywho this sled rocks with the parts in the sig (01 zrt 600) :hallo1:
