Went out last weekend for a tour with Formulaman up to Collingwood.
Dropped in Singhampton and rode to Meford and back.
1st thing I notice is the tiny little windscreen is amazingly great wind deflection, way better than on my 03 X.
Trying to set it up was a chore, tried settings of where Ihad my 03 set at and its not anywhere near the same.
Let FM ride it for a while he seemed to like it, he rides a ZX chassis now.
Went with Monique for a tour yesterday dropped in Clifford and rode to Chesley and made a loop and back to Clifford.
Snow a little light in some places on the way out but got better.
Back to the sled, like I said windshield is great, got to aprox. 7.5 hrs on odometer and it made a pop under throttle.
I am not sure if that was the pop of the chip going or not but it seems to have more power, it could be in my head thogh.
I think I have it setup to my liking as of now it handles great, carves hard, considering I am riding with a partially sprain wrist.
Lots of power just point and shoot.
I took factory runners off the front and installed my Intense series runners from my 03 , big difference here let me tell you.
Special thanks to Permafrost on his recomdation on these.
Very happy with this sled other than no storage at all.
I can carry the maps and that is about it, that sux.
Fuel milage is incredable , rode 141 kms yesterday and used 90 % of my fuel in the tank, about the same as Moniques 03 600 HO Rev.
Trying to talk her into a 04 or 05 for next year , something with DPM, I messed up when I ordered her sled without DPM.
Well heading back for the trails today , gonna drop in Baden and ride to meet FM at Conostogo lake clubhouse or hide to his house for a visit.
Ride same everyone.
Scott
