i have a 96 indy 500 triple i have gas slowly leaking into crankcase i drain regular but that is cheating i have changed one needle and seat because it was flooding. could there be anther one leaking how can i tell? open to ideas.
unless you change them all i know it 15 buck a piece... you can take the carbs into a shop and get them vacuum tested for leaks... that will do it my 96 xcr i changed them all
After you drained it did you see more fuel accumulate after it sat for while? If not then I wouldn't be too woried unless it was a large amount of fuel. There is always going to be a small amount of fuel sitting in the crankcase after shut down, this fuel will be used up on the next start.
99% sure you have leaking needle and seats make sure you get the new viton tip needle part number 3130643 for 38mm carbs cant remeber 34mm number leaking diaphram in fuel pump will cause this too but not as comin both carbs and fuel pump can be checked with mighty vac.
