i'm getting different stories on how many needle bearings are in the wrist pin bearing. 02 mxz700 renegade. after dropping some of the bearings and not sure if any fell into crankcase(yes it was covered) we started counting. we put it back together and weree able to put in 27, but i hear there is 28. there's no way we could have put in another. could theis be aftermarket? i bought this sled used. fished around the crank with a magnet and didn't find any. anybody know?

My 02 600 had 28. Do yourself a favor and put in a caged bearing. The part no. for my 600 was 420-832-442. Check with your dealer to see if it's the same for the 700 also. Good luck.
