i have a 2002 800 Renegade with the stock 136x1.25 track. I am thinking to upgrade to a more aggressive style 1.75 or maybe even a 2''. My biggest concern is will i have enough clearance without changing the drivers or any other painstaking modifications?? Thanks to anyone with knowledgable input.

I have an 03 800 gade with the 1.75 inch track and would not go back to the 1.25. You do have to be more cautious in low snow. Up to a 2 inch track can be installed on your sled with no modifications. My track now has over 4000kms on it and is mint except for one lug that i damged in low snow on a piece of metal, my fault. I cut it even with the track and it has stayed the exact same since
