i have a 800 rev renegade 04 and was wondering if anyone has had any problems with there's. my mag side was 150 and the pto side was 120 for compression, lost rpms a couple of times and stopped because i knew there was a problem, added oil to my gas and it ran fine, got home and ckecked the compression and it was low on one side, it's on warranty but just checking if anyone else had these problems. thanks for your time. dahmer

Sounds like a ring problem.

thanks for the info. brought it back to the dealer and the mechanic checked it over and said that nothing was wrong. he said the compression was 140 140. picked it up brought it home checked the compression again and got the same results 120 150, so since it has warranty drove it all weekend and it ran great, checked the compression sat afternoon and it was 140 140 no to sure what going on with my sled but it better blow up before the warranty is over. thank again.

Is tester kept in heated area? or in a cold garage?? If its in a cold place, put it inside and let it warm up, then check your compression.. Tell us what you get for numbers.

evel

its in a cold garage but its on warranty so i'll just drive it. i've been driving it for 500 kms and haven't had a problem yet. except for the rhubarb damn those corners come up fast on a 800. my 600 would of made that corner but oh well no damage so very lucky. thanks everyone for the info but i will give the sled a once over when i put it away.
