Just put 450 miles on the Camoplast 1" lug track on my 96 VMAX. OH MY GOD! It's like it's a totally different sled. The thing HOOKS! It STOPS! It TURNS! It goes straight! It is without a doubt the best $315.00 I have EVER SPENT!

Glad to hear your great results. Did the Yokahama track have the same lug size?

I think the 96 vmax was a lot smaller than the 1" track,,, I know the 94's were,,,, and I believe the 94-96 used the same track,,,,

What type or style track did you buy? I just put a camoplast 1" lug on my 700 It's the 6pitch High performance trail track and I don't notice much difference over the stock yamaha track. I think it's a little better but I still break the back end loose at 60+ . I was going to ask if anyone had any ideas about how to get some of the power to the ground instead of just spinning.

The stock track was a 5/8" lug. My new track was what they called"Performance Touring" my buddy put a "High Performance Trail.6 pitch" on his 97 VMAX at the same time. Both seem to perform equally good. Mine hooks so good I am now going to clutch mine cuz it's actually doggy out of the hole now. Of course we were riding in 32-36 degree temps in wet snow this weekend.
