I said it in December... saying it again... Mothernature is a BIT**!!
So thinking this is it for our season, but maybe squeeze one more ride in.
Is there any snow left in Sudbury or Sundridge areas??? That's about as far as I want to drive for a LONG day trip.
Between work and sickness in our house my sled season has been pretty sad!!!
PLEASE HELP!! lol

Here north of Parry Sound there is not much more than mud on the trails.
There is still good ice cover on the water, but too much slush to ride.
We need some cold temps.

I talked to the guy at Sportman's Lodge yesterday (Thursday) and apparently things are still rideable north of Sudbury. We're booked for this weekend so I will let you know how it is when I return. The weather forecast looks promising as well (more snow and cold), so next weekend might be a possibility as well.

We are in a winter storm watch..anywhere from 10-30 cm of snow from liskeard north..our trails are still open and in fair shape but 3-4 inches of fresh snow will be dandy..

I have heard varying reports in the last couple days ...I would head well north of North Bay or Sudbury if I were you . Got a friend that went to cochrane last night so i"m sure I'll get a report from him soon and let you know

If New Liskeard gets 30cm, I will be there next weekend... and probably half of the snowmobiling population of southern Ontario

A co-worker just talked to his sister in Sudbury. They are suspose to get snow tonight as well. She says 2 to 20cm... that's a vag range in my books!! lol

I think I am going to be a werther person... you can't be wrong.
"todays forcast... it well be sunny with over cast and some wind periods with a chance rain or snow" hmmm... that's pretty close! lol

I've said it before and I'll say it again; am I ever glad I decided to spend the winter in NFLD this year. My only regret is that I have to get back to Ontario soon. (Was supposed to leave March 1st. Have got a reservation for the ferry on the 6th)
'We're still in the peak of winter here, and it's been a fantastic winter. For the lucky SOB's that can stay here there is AT LEAST another 6-8 weeks of riding left.

Oh well, there's always next year, and a guy's gotta pay the bills (and for the sled) somehow.
